Shipping out of area
We do appreciate the opportunity to give you a
Quote. If you are planning to purchase your appliances from us and do not live
within 100 miles from us or your appliances are being delivered by common
carrier there are a few things you should know before you make the purchase.
- We pride ourselves at being able to take care of most consumer affairs
issues. However, if you are not within 100 miles from our store and we did
not deliver the appliances ourselves or contract them to be installed by our
installers then we may be limited as to how much we can help you with
consumer issues.
- Make sure that there are people in your area who can do service on the
product. Some specialty products are not available throughout the nation and
may not have any service where you live.
- We will not be responsible or get involved in damaged items shipped to
you by a common carrier. Once the carrier picks the product from us they are
solely responsible for the contents and we, the manufacturer, and the
distributor, are released from any damage liability. When the cartons are
unloaded you become responsible for their contents. Any noted damages should
be put on the bill of lading and if severe, refused. You have 15 days to
report any concealed damages to the shipper or you have no recourse. You
must file the claim. We are more than happy to sell you these appliances
but do not have damage control as we do when shipping by our truck. UPS
excluded. We can certainly assist you in filing your claim against the
shipper.
- All of the above issues are out of the ordinary. We are assisting you in
your wish to purchase from us. As you are aware, the prices we sell for are
usually worth taking any small risk due to the considerable savings you will
experience on your purchase here.
